Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the Sokeya Natural website and the account, catalog, and (where available) ordering features offered through it. It covers what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Account and profile information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider), along with any profile details you choose to add, such as your name, phone number, and marketing communication preference.

Address information. If you save a shipping address, we store the recipient name, phone number, street address, city, region, postal code, and country you provide.

Order information. Once ordering is available, order records (items purchased, quantities, pricing, and order status) will be associated with your account and address information. Sokeya Natural does not yet process payments or accept orders; this section will be expanded before checkout goes live.

Authentication and session information. We use session identifiers to recognize you as signed in between page loads. These are managed by our authentication provider and are required for account features to function.

Technical information. Our hosting and infrastructure providers automatically log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for operating and securing the site. We do not currently use this data for advertising or behavioral profiling.

We use only the cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to operate core account functionality. We do not currently use third-party advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.

• To create and maintain your account.
• To let you save addresses and manage your profile.
• To process and fulfill orders once ordering is available.
• To communicate with you about your account or orders.
• To send marketing communications only if you have opted in, and to honor your preference if you opt out.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the platform.

Authorized Sokeya Natural staff may access account and order information as needed to provide support, fulfill orders, and operate the platform. Staff access is role-based and limited to what is necessary for that role.

We apply access controls, including database-level Row Level Security, so that customer data is only reachable by its owner or by authorized staff performing a legitimate function. We may use technical information to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.

We rely on third-party infrastructure providers to operate Sokeya Natural:

• Supabase provides our database, authentication, and file storage.
• Vercel hosts and serves the website.

Sokeya Natural has not yet selected a payment provider. This policy will be updated to name that provider and describe how payment information is handled before checkout is enabled. We do not sell customer information to third parties.

We retain account, address, and order information for as long as your account remains active, or as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you delete your account, we remove or de-identify personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.

• You can view and update your profile and addresses at any time from your account.
• You can opt in or out of marketing communications from your account preferences.
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us.

Sokeya Natural is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this policy as Sokeya Natural’s features and practices evolve, particularly as ordering, payments, and shipping become available. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we make material changes.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its security against all possible threats.
